Do You See What I See (Car Analogy)

Note: This was originally written last July 22, 2012, about three weeks ago.

I suddenly had this random thought while we were driving our way out of the parking lot. I'm in Paranaque again this weekend, so I'm like with my second family. I recently 'knew' cars because my four-year-old cousin, Paopao, is kinda obsessed with them.

So there's the Mitsubishi logo with the three joint diamonds, Honda with a straight H, Hyundai with an oblique fancy H, Mazda with a, uh, wing-like symbol, Pao's favorite, the Audi with the intertwined four circles and tons more! So I looked at the cars parked while we drove off, and I thought, so there's a Toyota, a Mitsubishi, a Honda, another Toyota and so on. Then it hit me. Oh my gosh, before I knew these things, I used to look at cars and pick out which I would like to buy someday or which is the shiniest one. Yet, here I am now, naming their brands.

Don't our minds work so intricately? Well, in a deeper perspective, it amazes me how differently I thought. I guess we all see things everyday, but we don't really look at them the same way. I guess we should at all times be considerate because we're not always in the same page as others. We do not know how their minds work. But, despite that, we should be open-minded because it may shock us how little we differ with others at times.

So yeah, I hope you got the gist of my realization. I'm not really good in explaining, I just hope I proved my point. :)
